After serving in the U.S. Army from 1967-1970 and in the Vietnam War,
Dr Curry returned to the United States and completed his Bachelors of Science at Illinois State University in 1972. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois, and began a lifelong career of practicing veterinary medicine. He began his career in Kentucky, went on to practice in Illinois, and eventually made his way to Florida in 1997.
Since coming to Florida, Dr. Curry has practiced as an associate, relief, and part time veterinarian for a number of clinics within the Central Florida area, including the SPCA of North Brevard for 7 years. At the SPCA, Dr. Curry was voted 2013's Best Veterinarian of Titusville (Hometown News, 2013), has performed over 20,000 surgeries including spays, neuters, assorted soft tissue, and orthopedic surgeries within the past 4 years alone! He is excited to have opened his fourth veterinary practice, and looks forward to caring for your pets here in Titusville.
Dr. Curry has been married for 53 years to his wonderful wife Rita, and has fathered 4 amazing children. His eldest, Elizabeth, recently earned a PhD from the University of Oregon in English and Literature. His youngest daughter, Catherine, is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine having earned her degree from the University of Florida. His twin boys, Jon and Joseph, live and work in New York City, chasing their passions, one as an actor and the other an artist. He currently lives in Winter Springs with Rita and two very affectionate pets named Ollie and Lily.
